Umbethink Publishing LLC is a small publishing company started in 2020 to provide a cost effective means for Indie Self-Published Authors to sell their books to the public. Many self-published authors have boxes of unsold books they purchased (or were forced to purchase) at the time their book was published. At Umbethink we don't want control of your book, your investment, or publisher rights. Our intent is to provide a service to those authors that have their books "in-hand" and are looking for a site that can host your titles, collect and process monies, and notify you when someone has purchased your book and it needs to be shipped.

Unfortunately, at this time we are still working out the business plan and pricing for this service. Rest assured it is our intent to leave you, the author, with as much as your hard earned money as possible. Please check back constantly to see our progress!

Currently our business plan under development will require you, the author, to mail copies of your work to a customer once ordered. Umbethink Publishing LLC plans are to host your book for a flexible timeframe, ensure it is highlighted, and provide variable plans that makes putting your works of art on display easy, and cheap.

As President of Umbethink Publishing LLC, I too decided to write my own book and self-publish to maintain total artistic control. Unfortunately, most publishing companies and online merchant stores are looking to maximize their profit while minimizing yours. Those of us that invested our own hard earned money into our work quickly found that it is nearly impossible to get our book's into the mainstream bookstores because of the stigma "self-published" books create in the book industry. Online bookstores take up to 70% of an author's potential profit in their fees and they do this for the "privilege" of hosting your book on their site. So, Umbethink Publishing LLC was created to provide a place for us to host our books, at a low cost, while maintaining what you first envisioned, total control of your books.

As we develop our business plan for the future, Umbethink Publishing LLC expects to offer hosting for physical books as well as electronic versions that you may have created. If the file can be uploaded to our site, we can sell it. Currently we are working with .PDF based verisons, however, testing continues for other file types during development.

You set the price. We may offer suggestions from time to time, however, if you feel it will sell at your price, then that's fine with us.
